Library of Antonína Švehly

The IAEI runs a specialized library focused on agriculture and food industry. The library's interwar tradition defines its historical and cultural identity, since it has been open to the public since 1928. Today, in conjunction with modern technologies, it supports the information needs of scientific and research activities in agriculture, food industry, and related fields. The library also actively participates in education, supports civil society, and contributes to strengthening the role of knowledge systems in modern European agriculture. Over time, the library's collection has grown significantly, and it now holds over one million publications, making it one of the largest agricultural libraries in the world.

We will be happy if you visit the library in person or look at our website kas.uzei.cz
