Every year we solve a number of internal projects within the framework of an internal grant competition, which ensure the development of scientific and research activities of IAEI as a research organization in accordance with international trends, current topics and requirements of practice and the Ministry of Agriculture, which leads, among others, to the implementation of new topics that are subsequently used as part of the thematic tasks processed for the Ministry of Agriculture. This activity also deepens the knowledge base of the employees and is reflected in the publication activity.
Internal projects are divided into three categories – internal research projects (IVP), internal development projects (IDP) and internal support projects (IPP).
Internal research projects (IVP)
In this type of project, the authors solve new and current topics, usually focus on narrower goals, state research hypotheses and develop the theoretical, methodological and methodological basis of IAEI. Their goal is to generate new knowledge (for IAEI, or within the Czech Republic or with an international reach) and the outputs are largely aimed at the scientific community (publications in professional / impact journals).
Internal development projects (IDP)
Internal development projects do not primarily aim to generate new factual knowledge, rather they try to apply already acquired knowledge. Their purpose is that their outputs help to the high-quality fulfilment of thematic tasks or to the provision of new services. They thus complement other IAEI activities in terms of methodology, models or data.
Internal support projects (IPP)
These types of projects are focused on software, data or technical-organizational research support or research dissemination. This is, for example, projects developing new software or software applications or projects focused on factual preparation and organization of workshops, conferences, etc.
