Annotation:
The project aims to fill the gap in applied agricultural research by developing a comprehensive analysis of the productivity and efficiency of Czech agriculture and to develop a model / methodological tool for assessing the impact of current and future policies. The project aims: (i) to carry out the detail analysis of productivity, efficiency a their sources according to the size distribution and output specialisation of farmers, (ii) to identify the level of natural sustainable input use and the potential of sustainable agricultural growth including the evaluation of the weather impact on productivity and efficiency, (iii) to analyse the profitability and its sources according to the size distribution and output specialisation of farmers, (iv) to analyse the relation between productivity and international trade, (v) to develop a tool for analysing and evaluating the impact of current and future agricultural policies.

Create a database of necessary secondary data for analysis; derive a conceptual model; apply a model to the estimation of production technology, productivity and efficiency; derive a conceptual model that takes into account the environmental dimension of agricultural activity in relation to productivity and allows analysis of weather on the transformation process in agriculture; derive a conceptual model for relationship analysis between productivity and foreign trade.
